Already our 2nd largest market (Australia’s our largest market), we have big plans to grow further in the UK and beyond. To help us hit our aggressive growth targets we’re looking for the first UK-based member of our global marketing team.

We need a passionate, experienced, metrics-driven Marketing & Partnerships Manager to focus on creatively reaching and engaging our target audience of small trade businesses in the UK and beyond. We’ve got the basics under control. Now we’re looking for someone to take our UK marketing efforts to the next level. To be successful in this role, you’ll have lots of experience and demonstrated success planning and implementing multi-channel demand generation campaigns, establishing productive marketing partnership programs and you’ll be passionate about identifying and testing new opportunities to drive growth. You’ll drive UK demand gen planning across various channels every quarter and you’ll also support some global marketing activity, working closely with the NZ-based marketing team. You’ll have great hustle, be able to make things happen fast, work well with our sales team and thrive on the challenge of measuring and improving the ROI on our marketing investments.

 

In a typical day, you might:

  • Kick off your day with an early morning call with the global marketing team where you share your latest campaign results vs target and what you’re planning to test next.
  • Meet with the UK sales team to refine messaging for a social campaign you’re launching next month.
  • Spend time building a pipeline of new marketing partnership and influencer opportunities. 
  • Meet (physically or virtually) with prospective partners and influencers
  • Grab a quick coffee with a few of our London-based sales reps to get feedback on UK lead quality this week
  • Crunch numbers to figure out the ROI of a recently concluded marketing campaign, and make recommendations on how you could improve this further.
  • Get creative with the broader team to brainstorm new campaign ideas to increase qualified trials next month, then again the month after that to meet our ever-growing targets
  • Present the results from last month’s partner programs and UK campaigns and share recommendations to improve performance 
  • Join the weekly all company team meeting via google hangout to hear how we’re doing on our priorities for the month plus how we’re tracking vs our monthly targets


You’re going to love this job if you:

  • Have at least 5 years of multi-channel demand generation and growth marketing experience
  • Thrive on creating, implementing and managing multi-channel marketing campaigns
  • Have experience identifying and implementing productive marketing partnerships  
  • Are a strong, persuasive writer
  • Are an analytical thinker with experience in campaign reporting and analysis
  • Have a track record of innovation and marketing experimentation, with clear examples of truly unique ways you’ve successfully driven demand
  • Are excited by the challenge of constantly improving marketing effectiveness and ROI
  • Have experience using HubSpot or similar marketing automation software
  • Are comfortable working as a remote member of a global marketing team


We’re a team of 36 friendly & diverse people who work and play hard. You’ll report to the New Zealand-based VP of Marketing, but beyond that you’ll be working across a flat team where everyone shares in the same purpose and pitches in as needed.
